Project Duplication shares tasks

I have created a Project for use as template, before a real template function will be available in Routine. I have then duplicated the project to use for a real task checklist. When I started to complete tasks in the duplicated project, the tasks started to complete themselves in the project I made the duplication from - and nothing in the actual project duplicated.

    Hmm ok then in that case - Duplicating a Project should not copy tasks from the source Project :) I know that on the Project list the duplicated project shows 0/0 tasks, but when I enter the duplicated project I have the tasks from the Source project and as I understand it they are not duplicated - they are the ones from the actual source project just as alias of some sort? - so it’a s bit confusing.

    So for now I’m just hoping that the Template function is near :) I need it badly

      I’m making some improvement. However, if what you want is to have a project with some tasks in it and duplicating the project along with the tasks. This will not work.

      Since we do not have templates yet, the workaround is rather to use the AI assistant. Create a page with the description of the tasks and ask AI to create the project with the tasks for it.
