Hello @Inner Exception , the integrations are still beta, we are gradually fixing problems and improving the feature.
The next release should fix your specific problem.
If version 0.25.9 (to be released soon) doesn’t fix the problem, please download the logs right after reproducing the problem (Settings / Logs / Download) and upload them in this ticket for further investigation 🙏

Thanks for posting in the Routine Community. This is Manos and I’m here to assist!
We did just launch this in the beta version, so we’re eager to see how to catch bugs early.
So you never manage to connect an Outlook account, immediately the Desktop app freezes upon clicking it.
Are you able to take any actions after a while or it completely requires a shutdown and restart?

Hi Manos,
I tried again (there was a new Routine version deployed in between).
Now it doesn’t freeze anymore, but I couldn’t complete the flow

I tried a second time, it worked. But there are multiple bugs:
it opens a dedicated window instead of my normal browser (it’s annoying because my password manager is in my browser)
it doesn’t refresh the integrations page after adding the account, so I thought it didn’t work
It added the account twice for some reason

Another question: how to the Outlook integration is supposed to work? I don’t see any Outlook calendar in the Calendars menu in the settings. I also see Gmail, so I suppose it connects to emails and there’s a possibility to get tasks from there? None of this is explained to the user.

Hello ! Thanks for taking the time to try to setup the outlook integration. @Julien Debon will be happy to take the feedbacks that you just talked about. If I’m correct the oulook integration should allow you to map you email (and maybe also your events) to a database in routine. @Julien Debon would know more :)

Hello, @Nicolas Tassone is correct. It creates a database for each data source you enable, with bidirectional synchronization. The Outlook data sources are not integrated into the Calendar, Agenda, etc. This will be more cleanly indicated in the future. We are also adding in the next release a button to jump directly to the database from a data source. Thank you for the feedback!
