Thanks for flagging this. May I ask if you see the same Tasks on the Desktop app or the web app as well?
When you schedule a Task, does it always create additional duplicates?

this has something to do wit the ios app not following the Discard. When i discard a few recurring tasks that have accumulated because i did not check them off, they register in the desktop app on the day i discard them as discarded, the ios app then just shows them as tasks to do on that day
