Microsoft To do sync

Hello!

New and happy user and was about to subscribe. 

But having a troubling issue with microsoft to do sync. 

Tasks entered in microsoft to do are populating twice across any device or platform when I log into routine. 

So I end up with two exact instances of one task. 

Can this be resolved? I really want to subscribe.
