Hi. Here you’re not deleting the recurring task but one of the occurrences. You can access the recurring task through the Tasks screen and Recurrences tab. Or open on of the recurrences and click the frequency at the top right corner to access the recurrence. Then you can delete the recurrence there. A recurring task as a double arrow in circle symbol above the checkbox. That how you can distinguish them from regular tasks.
