Bulleted numbers misbehaving and impeding writing

Hey I dont really know how to explain this in a technical way but the first thing is that putting any number with a period defaults to making it a bulleted list - thats fine at first. In my use case i’m writing a paragraph then i create a new line with the number 2 & period - since its not continuous from the first bullet, it defaults to changing the number to 1. Quirky but i understand I guess.

The real issue is that as you can see in item #3 - Where i tried a workaround to avoid it bulleting, i would not press space after the number & period (“3. “) So that it treats it like a normal line of text. I’m not concerned with bulleting i just want the number in that line of text. But the moment i try to input any text onto that line, it bugs out and bullets the item, defaulting to 1, and then removing letters and text, and when i undo and try again it continues to do so.

As you can see in the video its misbehaving and making it disruptive to the writing.

Small thing but i’m the type that can get distracted and irritated to the point where i get fixated on it trying to force it to behave the way I want.

Great app by the way. Still getting into the swing of using it but it i’m enjoying the system and how it works.
